I like the new decor. Get the service right lose the scumbags. Not eaten there yet but the caesar salad looks expenive. Good to see Real Ae back on the Lothian Road

Poor selection of beer. Couldn't see any real ale, so a choice of Guinness or Eurofizz. Went for Guinness, and it was foul. Not a rough pub, but gives the impression of being one of those "chain" establishments which are all too common these days. If you've been out to the Usher Hall or the Lyceum, it's good for a quick G & T, but otherwise don't bother-there's better places in Edinburgh by far.

forget this place - mediocre food , flies buzzin around yr plate - poor beer and service.
When the footies on its crowded but you always get the feeling it could all kick off in here , especially at the weekends

It's an ok place if you like sitting next to a certain type of person and it's not as cheap you would think! they do do doubles for for cheap though however that does attract cheap scapes. good if you are going to a concert at the usher hall and don't care about what or where you drink. the service is dreadful. The food is cheap for a reason. next time you are in count how many light bulbs are out. Really busy when there is football which adds to the atmosphere

Wouldn't want to spend the evening here, but it is good for a cheeky pint en-route to another pub. Has the quietest bar maid to be found in all Edinburgh
