live only yards away but wont be making this my local. the bar staff will serve everyone they know before begrudgingly serving you. 2.55 is steep for a pint of tennents considering what kind of pub it is. every song that came on the jukebox jumped when i was there, but is is open to 1am!

Fast Becoming the Alkie Bar extrodinaire of Tollcross. Staff will talk of "The Alky Shift" (before 1900).

Oh yes... The Jukebox. 7 plays for a pound, the problem is only about 1/3rd of the tracks will play.

Smells funny. Vastly Overrated and is currently being run into the ground by the owner.

No frills basic boozer with late license and a cracking jukebox - mostly art students and a few locals at the bar but its fair enough if you just fancy a quick late nite pint .

A great little late night pub, just off the beaten track. Nothing pretenious, reasonably priced. Ideal for those evenings when you fancy just one more.

Only just found this place - and I have been up and down tollcross for years. Firstly - This place has got to have the smallest gents in Edinburgh? Just one bowl and then only enough room to get in and close the door - But that doesn't make it a bad pub - In fact I rather liked this pub... Nothing chain pub or style bar here, pretty basic but welcoming. Cosy with a jukebox on the wall - proved a good place for a couple of jars and a chat.
